David Gansky, Chair

ganskyDavid graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Marketing Management. An energetic and visionary entrepreneur, he was one of the original founders of what became the most renowned multi-location facilities maintenance company in the United States (US Maintenance, now called Emcor). Mr. Gansky later sold US Maintenance in 2006 and at that time, the company was servicing over 50,000 retail locations. Their clients ranged from financial institutions, convenience stores and drug store chains to big box retailers such as Best Buy, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and Ross Stores. He retired in 2008 and in 2010 he formed Longport Shields, a vehicle to acquire Shields Business Solutions. As a result of seeing consistently poor service delivery, combined with a hunger to return to the very industry that David was so passionate about, the Shields Facilities Maintenance division was established with the goal of leveraging the knowledge, experience and success of his original venture, to raise the bar for service delivery and provide next generation solutions. David continues to be very hands on in regards to design and execution of all programs. Additionally, David sits on the Foundation Board of Trustees at his alma mater West Chester University.
